Quote
It took a historically bad beating Tuesday in Dayton. By Friday, Alabama made the adjustments.

A 105-93 win over visiting Louisiana-Lafayette was never close as Alabama hit triple figures against a Division I opponent for the first time in 10 years.

105-93 Tide  Final

Is Bama becoming the Baylor of the basketball world.  Putting up tons of points against inferior competition, no defense, and struggling when they face a team that has a defense?

I'd rather see the "run & gun", instead of the "dribble the ball & stall"; anytime. Loyola Marymount went to the Elite Eight in 1990 with that type of team.

Bama's given up a lot of points in all three games.  If they can hit 15 3's a game consistently, they'll be fine though.  I think the high scores are largely a result of the up-tempo offense Bama is running.

ULL has an NBA quality senior who was almost single-handedly responsible for the stats in "The Ugly" section.

Good point. I think CAJ only had so much time to address all the issues this team had for several years so he worked primarily with the offense, running plays, passing, etc. Plus, he is basically using someone else's players and he had 2 true freshmen starting at times. This is a work in progress. We will see some ugly scores this year.

Why can't Bama shoot free throws?

Oof. 30 personal fouls and three guys fouled out.   I didn't see the game so I don't know the nature of the fouls, but that bothers me more than the amount of points.

Yeah, we have been fouling too much in all the games. Obasohan was leading in scoring when he fouled out, Kessens was having a good game, and Hall was abounding so late in a game this good definitely bite us.
