Title: Dabo Swinney on the idea of leaving Clemson for Alabama: 'You don't ever say nev Post by: bama57 on November 19, 2015, 03:07:47 PM Quote In a profile by CBS Sports' Jon Solomon, Swinney was unwilling to rule out a possible future return to his alma mater, where he played wide receiver and spent seven years as an assistant coach. You don't ever say never. You don't ever know what the circumstances would be at any given time. First of all, Alabama may never, ever call me and I would never have a problem with that. They've got to do what they've got to do. My deal is to be great where I'm at. I had opportunities to leave Alabama. I had opportunities to leave Clemson. But I've just never been that guy about the next job. I'm about the job I've got. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2015/11/19/9760590/dabo-swinney-clemson-alabama-quote Title: Re: Dabo Swinney on the idea of leaving Clemson for Alabama: 'You don't ever say nev Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 19, 2015, 03:28:28 PM Clemson fans will love this article.

I wouldn't want to be the coach that follows Nick Saban. Yep! Dabo's got good assistant coaches under him at Clempson. They will prolly leave for better jobs after this year and Clempson will become Clempson again. I like Dabo, but I wouldn't want him as a head coach at Bama. Nostradumbass has written. There was an upset in that game, but it was pulled off by the Citadel, which had lost 27 straight games v. FBS teams before beating USCe. :lol2: The last time they beat and FBS team? USCe, in 1990. :lol2: (Those were the days when South Carolina might go an entire season without a win). |
