Sounds dire! Sounds dire! Reading between the lines, Freeze says he was "found" and it's a personal matter. Sounds like either a medical condition or some type of intoxication, drugs or alcohol. Doesn't matter, the Cowboys (Jerry Jones) will still draft him. Quote According to multiple reports, Rebels coach Hugh Freeze said that Nkemdiche is “questionable” for Saturday’s game against LSU, stating that the team’s leading tackler is dealing with a “personal matter.” But RebelGrove.com, a site in the Rivals network, reported that Nkemdiche is actually in the intensive care unit of a North Mississippi hospital, where he has been since being discovered Monday. Quote According to RebelGrove.com, red flags first went up when Nkemdiche failed to report for an Ole Miss (7-3) team meeting on Sunday following the No. 22 Rebels’ bye week. The report stated that Nkemdiche was found the next day and taken to the hospital, though it did not indicate exactly where or in what condition Nkemdiche was found. The story did say that Nkemdiche was conscious as of Wednesday. He was missing an entire day. Wow, very scary. http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/story/ole-miss-rebels-linebacker-denzel-nkemdiche-missing-hospital-icu-lsu-brother-robert-111815 Title: Re: Report: Ole Miss LB Denzel Nkemdiche in intensive care Post by: ricky023 on November 19, 2015, 10:37:56 AM Pray this young man is healed in the name of JESUS. Title: Re: Report: Ole Miss LB Denzel Nkemdiche in intensive care Post by: Bamaphile on November 19, 2015, 11:25:44 AM On some other message boards, some Ole Miss fans are saying that this is drug related, very possibly from synthetic pot (spice). Those same fans seem to indicate that this is not an isolated incident of drug use on the team, and that the problem has been well-known among many in Ole Miss circles for some time. I'll keep my subjective comments about this to myself until/if/when the rumors are substantiated. For this player's sake, hopefully, the rumors won't have any truth to them.

Looking more and more like the 'drugs' rumor must be true. Yep, I figured it was when I saw the info was coming from Ole Miss. I read that the synthetic stuff, what the folks are assuming he used, is used rather than the real stuff because it doesn't show up on the drug test. This I don't know and honestly I know very little about drugs other than alcohol and that's because I once drank alcohol socially but not any more. |
