Title: Tide sophomore Mosley looking to shine
Post by: pmull on August 27, 2011, 08:06:02 AM
The linebacker earned plenty of followers last season. The former Parade All-American displayed speed and smarts in Alabama’s pass defense. He not only recorded the two picks and returned them for points against Florida and Georgia State, he was credited with 10 pass breakups.

Mosley was credited with 67 tackles, again largely playing in passing situations as he and Nico Johnson eventually shared the middle linebacker spot.

At the same time, he became the fourth inside linebacker to earn at least one start as a true freshman in the past four seasons. He joined Rolando McClain (2007), Dont’a Hightower (2008) and Johnson (2009) – in contributing to Alabama’s complex 3-4 defense.
