Title: Baylor DB Blatantly Fakes Injury Post by: bamaphil on November 15, 2015, 06:30:05 AM http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2015/11/14/watch-baylor-defensive-back-fakes-injury-so-blatantly-that-it-hilarious.html
We've seen this several times this year from different teams. It seems like there should be a penalty for this. It's one thing if a player goes down at the end of the play and stays down. He might be faking, but there's no way to know. But when a player appears perfectly healthy and ready and is lined up to play, then drops to the ground, that's got to be penalized. Clearly, coaches want you to drop if you're hurt. It slows the game, and gives the defense a team a chance to substitute and reorganize without losing a timeout. Maybe it's time to charge timeouts for injuries. But then, of course, players will be dragging paralyzed bodies of comrades across the field to the sidelines to save a timeout. Title: Re: Baylor DB Blatantly Fakes Injury Post by: td57 on November 15, 2015, 06:49:21 AM They learned from the masters of fake football.
