Title: Re: Missouri coach Pinkel resigning, has lymphoma Post by: pmull on November 13, 2015, 04:24:18 PM Good luck to him. I hope he beats this and gets his health back. He should be financially secure. He had a pretty good run based on Missouri standards.
I have a football from signed by Coach Saban and Coach Pinkel from the 2014 SEC Championship game. Obviosly it is not game ball. I do not know how many they signed but I am glad I have one. He doesn't have a good track record in "championship" games. This one is THE championship though so hopefully he will win it...
That is cool pmull, very nice... Title: Re: Missouri coach Pinkel resigning, has lymphoma Post by: 2Stater on November 13, 2015, 10:41:18 PM Good luck to him. Title: Re: Missouri coach Pinkel resigning, has lymphoma Post by: Jamos on November 14, 2015, 06:14:07 AM I was detected with Lymphoma almost ten years ago and have been blessed with the progression of mine. There are two types of the disease, aggressive and non-aggressive and I was lucky that mine is the non-aggressive type. When it was first detected I was told I would have 6-8 years to live and trust me it was an eye opener, something that I never thought could happen to me.
My Oncologist now shakes his head when I go for my appointments and tells me that I am an amazing person in that my blood count has never changed since my first appointment with him which is very rare to happen. He said he has no answer for that only that it is amazing that it has happened that way and to keep doing what I have been doing. I don't know the diagnosis of Coach Pinkel's cancer and I pray that he will be as fortunate as I have been. I credit the power of God for my good fortune and I'll be praying for the same with Coach Pinkel. You haven't wasted your extra years! BTW, hope your visit to the dermatologist this week went well. :worship: Title: Re: Missouri coach Pinkel resigning, has lymphoma Post by: 2Stater on November 14, 2015, 06:41:22 AM I was detected with Lymphoma almost ten years ago and have been blessed with the progression of mine. Title: Re: Missouri coach Pinkel resigning, has lymphoma Post by: cbbama99 on November 14, 2015, 01:26:15 PM My prayers are definitely with CGP. It has been a rough couple of weeks for him with the goings on at UM on top of his health. I pray for his recovery. He seems like a class act.

They are now 5-5 on the season with UT at home and Arky on the road remaining. He needs to win one of those to get to a bowl game.

I don't know the betting line on that game, but I didn't expect much from Mizzou. Congrats to them. Prayers for Pinkel. Title: Re: Missouri coach Pinkel resigning, has lymphoma Post by: Catch Prothro on November 15, 2015, 09:20:52 AM Pinkel's Missouri team got a much needed win over BYU 20-16 last night. Home game v. TN will be their best chance. Arky's D v. Mizzou's O could be ugly.
