Title: Radio personality says informally that Colts might go after Saban Post by: KoKoPuf on November 12, 2015, 01:57:57 PM :(This crap starts about this time every year and, I think, has been a real distraction for Alabama players and coaches. I hope Saban nips it in the bud this year and doesn't string it out like he has in the past.

Post by: SUPERCOACH on November 12, 2015, 02:04:39 PM He just turned 64. His next move will be to the lake. He will be on the short list of every job opening in the pros and college. I think by now the players and coaches just ignore all of this nonsense.
Title: Re: Saban to the Colts? Post by: SUPERCOACH on November 12, 2015, 02:05:59 PM Said another way, I am not the least bit concerned about him leaving to go to another team, but I am concerned about who we will get when he decides to retire.
Title: Re: Saban to the Colts? Post by: ricky023 on November 12, 2015, 02:14:30 PM Mrs Terry decides where they go from no on. OK, good question, CKS will be our next HC but it won't be till after we win one more NC. JMHO. RTR!
Title: Re: Saban to the Colts? Post by: N.AL-Tider on November 12, 2015, 02:27:04 PM I honestly wouldn't mind if CNS decided he wanted another shot at the NFL. Of course I would hate that we would have to start all over again with trying to hire "THE" coach but that is coming eventually anyways. Still, I'm very grateful for what Coach Saban has given to the Bama nation these years...

Title: Re: Saban to the Colts? Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 12, 2015, 03:14:15 PM Ain't gonna happen, nuff said. :deadhorse: Agreed. This nonsense was started by two guys on a podcast who "heard" something. Someone always trying to get more listeners or more hits on their website for more ad revenue. Saban is 64, has a grandchild, both kids living in the Ham, & Indianapolis is a hole. :deadhorse: :deadhorse: :deadhorse: Title: Re: Saban to the Colts? On that question I'm beginning to think mama will call Dabo home. Title: Re: Saban to the Colts? Post by: cbbama99 on November 12, 2015, 04:42:08 PM Here we go again. I wish I could know the sources these "reporters" use to find out who is talking about CNS being interested in an NFL job. Joe who owns the pizza joint across the street from Lucas Oil Field doesn't count. :eyeroll:

He ignores them, as should you. :lol2: This doesn't sound like much of a news story. Bob Kravitz on a podcast. :eyeroll: Quote WTHR's Bob Kravitz appeared on a podcast with Adam Schein and noted that he thinks Colts owner Jim Irsay will go after Alabama's Nick Saban as his next head coach. Joe who owns the pizza joint across the street from Lucas Oil Field doesn't count. :eyeroll: He would actually be a better source than most "sources" they have. Their source was either the bartender or a barfly at the local gin joint these reporters hang out at.
