Title: Odds say it's better take a bye week AFTER playing Bama

The record shows it's better to take a break after running into the Crimson Tide.

Go back to the start of the 2008 season, the year Nick Saban really got Alabama rolling. From there, SEC teams are 21-25 when they play a game the week after meeting the Crimson Tide.

Teams that took an open date after playing Alabama are 6-2 in their next game.
