This is a comparison of the team each  have played.  This was done before games were played yesterday so it may have changed a little.  It clearly shows Bama has played the tougher schedule which all of us know.   The main question is can Bama improve in the areas they need to for the upcoming week.  They must clean up the blocking by the O line as well as the mental penalties which hurt the team.  If they clean up the blocking assignments many of the negative plays will be eliminated.

Interesting numbers coach. It looks like we have been up against it a little more than they have.

Speaking of slobber-knockers, yesterday I heard one of the talking heads on TV refer to the OkSU vs. TTU game as a good ol' fashion something or other. No. No it wasn't. There is nothing ol' fashion about bball scores in football games. 70-53 has nothing to do with ol' fashion in football. 9-3. That's ol' fashion

You are dead on. All the rule changes and modifications over the years have been in favor of offenses. There is very little defense anymore, outside of the SEC. The 19-14 win over UT, was an "Old Fashion....."

You're right hscoach.  I expected we would be a slight favorite at home, but 7 points is surprising.  Fight on!!!

WOW, I agree.  That's a bunch for this game.
Tell you one thing; if Bama wins by 7 or more, we're definitely among the 'chosen 4' next week!!

I don't think we can make the playoff unless Ole Miss drops another SEC game.  Just my two cents.  We have been is this position before and the stars have aligned.

If the Ole Miss team that beat us shows up for the rest of their schedule, I think we're toast. Luckily, I still think they have some of the team in them that lost to UF and Memphis. I like our chances.

I'm not so sure, UF is a really good team.  Memphis ain't bad either for a change.  I do believe LSU will beat them but I also don't discount the teams that have beaten OM either...

I agree that UF and Memphis are both good teams, but they both gave Ole Miss a spanking. Neither game was close. That Ole Miss team is not the team that beat us. If we're head to head with UF or Memphis, I think we would win both of those games.

TRUE.  Ole Miss was sleepwalking against Memphis, not tackling well, not covering receivers, etc.  It was Memphis' game of the year.  OM didn't show up.

I spent Friday evening with a die-hard Memphis fan.  He agreed that OM wasn't the same team that out-scored Bama.

The line for the Bama game opened at 7 and is now down to 6 or 6 1/2, depending on the establishment.
