Title: Justin Thomas wins CIMB Classic for first PGA Tour title Post by: Jamos on November 01, 2015, 05:12:51 AM Justin Thomas won the CIMB Classic on Sunday for his first PGA Tour title, holing a 6-foot par putt on the final hole for a one-stroke victory over Adam Scott.

The monkey is finally off his back as he finally finished a tournament. He had flirted with winning a tournament a few times only to have a terrible Saturday or Sunday and lose. The golf commentators had really been bragging on his golf the last half of the season and said many times that it was just a matter of time before he would win. Congrats Justin, I think there will be more wins coming your way. I read this morning he had his typical Sunday bad hole on # 14 when he had a double bogey. He followed that up with three straight birdies and made a pressure packed 6 foot putt for par on 18.
I am very happy for this young man. He has all the tools to be a star on the PGA Tour. He is a small guy but he is very long, hits greens and is a good putter. Everything I have heard and read about him indicates he is a good guy that is well liked and respected on tour. After the double bogey, most golfers would have disappeared, but he sucked it up and played well the rest of the way. I hope we see a lot more of this from him this year.
