Title: Re: *** Tennessee v Kentucky; Saturday Night Games *** Post by: Catch Prothro on October 31, 2015, 06:42:30 PM TN v. KY about to kick off.
I went back and forth on this game. TN is a much better team and should win by double digits, but KY is at home, and you have to wonder about the Bama hangover factor. I decided to stick with TN. They've bounced back well from other losses this season. THREE AND OUT FOR KENTUCKY ON THEIR FIRST POSSESSION. :popcorn2: Title: Re: *** Tennessee v Kentucky; Saturday Night Games *** Post by: Chechem on October 31, 2015, 06:46:29 PM GO BIG BLUE!!

Title: Re: *** Tennessee v Kentucky; Saturday Night Games *** Post by: Marshal Dillon on October 31, 2015, 09:42:28 PM Minnesota trying to win one for Coach Kill. Just got down to 1/2 yard line, 19 secs left. No score & very strange play call by Minnesota. Gophers choke game away & lose 29-26. What a total screw up by the coach.

Michigan v. Minnesota Miami v Duke You'll see them on Sports Center. :popcorn2: Title: Re: *** Tennessee v Kentucky; Saturday Night Games *** Post by: Catch Prothro on October 31, 2015, 10:01:20 PM Minnesota trying to win one for Coach Kill. Just got down to 1/2 yard line, 19 secs left. No score & very strange play call by Minnesota. Gophers choke game away & lose 29-26. What a total screw up by the coach. Dumb. 19 seconds left, first and goal, and Minnesota spends more than 10 seconds shifting in the backfield before the snap.??? By the time the play was over, they were down to 2 seconds. They could have ran 3-4 plays in 19 seconds -- they even had a time out left. With the final 2 seconds, Minnesota could have admitted their screw up, kicked a FG and sent the game into OT. Instead they try a QB sneak which doesn't work, and time expires. Title: Re: *** Tennessee v Kentucky; Saturday Night Games *** Post by: Catch Prothro on October 31, 2015, 10:03:44 PM Duke took the lead and squib kicked it with a few seconds left. Miami ran the multiple lateral play, and after about 20 laterals they got a guy free with blockers in front, ran for a TD and won the game.

Temple now in the red zone, 4th down and 2, with 5 minutes left. FG attempt, 38 yard attempt is GOOD! Temple leads 20-17 with 4:45 left. Title: Re: *** Tennessee v Kentucky; Saturday Night Games *** Post by: Catch Prothro on October 31, 2015, 10:28:43 PM TD ND with 2 minutes left.

NO, "HIS KNEE WAS NOT DOWN", say refs after review. Miami wins on crazy lateral-roosky TD on kickoff. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( Title: Re: *** Tennessee v Kentucky; Saturday Night Games *** Post by: Jamos on November 01, 2015, 05:30:41 AM The officials are the ones that scare me the most when Bama is playing, not the team they are playing. ;)

The officials can take it away. Cutcliffe was pizzed after the refs blew the calls on the final play. Here are some quotes: http://collegespun.com/acc/duke/duke-coach-david-cutcliffe-calls-out-referees-after-miami-loss-the-guy-was-down What amazes me the most is you have officials sitting in a press box with the highest degree of technology in the review equipment and still can't get the calls right. maybe the officials feel they are smarter than the review equipment and don't want to believe what they see. There is an old saying, "you don't believe anything that you hear and only half of what you see." Title: Re: *** Tennessee v Kentucky; Saturday Night Games *** Post by: Catch Prothro on November 01, 2015, 08:03:53 AM The commentators are all over this call. Not only on the knee down, but on reviewing and reversing a block in the back call that was clearly correct.
Title: Re: *** Tennessee v Kentucky; Saturday Night Games *** Post by: SUPERCOACH on November 01, 2015, 04:35:19 PM All I heard today by the talking heads was that they didn't give Temple enough credit, that Temple has a great team that nearly knocked off Notre Dame.
:eyeroll: My take: Notre Dame is even worse than I thought and almost lost to Temple! This does not bode well for Dabo and his boys.
