Probaly be suspended for the 1st quarter of a game. That'll send a message. :eyeroll: Title: Re: JT Barrett arrested last night DUI Post by: Catch Prothro on October 31, 2015, 09:15:14 AM Now we'll see what holier-than-FSU Urban Meyer does. :popcorn2: No doubt in my mind it will be something severe. He can't get away from his words spoken on live TV.
But maybe a one game suspension is right in this case. Don't know what the guys history is. Title: Re: JT Barrett arrested last night DUI Post by: hscoach on October 31, 2015, 10:19:51 AM Don't forget that Gino Smith was arrested for the same thing and got a one game suspension.
Title: Re: JT Barrett arrested last night DUI Post by: Catch Prothro on October 31, 2015, 11:00:41 AM The story link above has been updated. One game suspension.
Quote 20-year-old Ohio State starting quarterback J.T. Barrett was cited early on the morning of Oct. 31 for operating a motor vehicle while impaired, according to the school. Ohio State has since announced that Barrett is suspended for one game, against Minnesota: Apparently OSU's "policy" is two games, but they said it didn't apply here. Quote According to school policy, a first-offense alcohol incident subjects a player to "more stringent alcohol testing," and a failed test by a player under 21 means a two-game suspension, but it's unclear whether any of this carries an automatic suspension in this case. Ohio State seems to disagree that it does: Ohio State AD Gene Smith tells @espn because J.T. Barrett’s arrest is misdemeanor, he’s not subject to mandatory 2-week suspension. :eyeroll: Title: Re: JT Barrett arrested last night DUI Post by: Marshal Dillon on October 31, 2015, 11:12:31 AM The story link above has been updated. Thank God he didn't steal crab legs 'cuz Urban would prolly have kicked him off the team. :eyeroll: Title: Re: JT Barrett arrested last night DUI Post by: cbbama99 on October 31, 2015, 04:44:27 PM Quote Ohio State AD Gene Smith tells @espn because J.T. They would probably differentiate between steamed or uncooked crab legs. :eyeroll: Title: Re: JT Barrett arrested last night DUI Post by: Catch Prothro on October 31, 2015, 04:55:38 PM Quote Ohio State AD Gene Smith tells @espn because J.T.
