He may be funny, but I hope he can play. He has been disappointing thus far. Hopefully he can pick up the pace and get on the field. Title: Re: Bowman story Post by: Catch Prothro on August 25, 2011, 10:33:11 AM Michael Bowman is awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VukaD23AIfE

Yep, sometimes bigger guys like that take time to grow into their bodies. True, there was lots of talk about him last year and he wasn't used much. Maybe this is the year we see the real MAN in Bowman. Title: Re: Bowman story Post by: Hannibal Lecter, MD on August 25, 2011, 10:56:35 AM Sometimes that can be the "danger" of the superb recruiting we've been having. We expect guys to come in and contribute immediately. There are only so many players we can play, and some guys may not have had the type of coaching or upbringing to have the knowledge/maturity to compete at the SEC level right away. Not always their faults, you just want them to work hard. In the article Smelley says his teammate works hard. Hopefully that's the truth.
