Title: Duron Carter and Danny Woodson Jr. still not at Alabama Post by: pmull on August 24, 2011, 07:48:58 AM Scanning the practice fields Tuesday afternoon there was still no sign of Duron Carter.
Whether or not the junior college wide receiver joins the Alabama remains a question yet-to-be answered. Carter is believed to be ironing out a transcript issue with a former school. Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban addressed Carter's status. "We still don't know," Saban said academic hurdles. "Until we get the information back on Duron Carter, which I haven't heard anything on compliance (Tuesday), we do have a few more days to be able to get this done." Also in question is the status of wide receiver Danny Woodson Jr., who worked in the offseason conditioning program, but has been absent for all of preseason practice. I was under the impression him being redshirted was due to whether or not Duron made it in time to play. RTR!
