In a move that was ridiculously predictable and (probably) predictably ridiculous, the Raiders have taken Terrelle Pryor in the third round of the NFL’s supplemental draft. That is the first time the NFL has done something like this. It happens to be the same punishment he would have received if he stayed in college.

That is the first time the NFL has done something like this. It happens to be the same punishment he would have received if he stayed in college. A lot of people criticized the NFL for allowing him to be in the draft. But I thought the 5 game suspension was actually a good thing and a step in the right direction. I still have no idea what motivated them to do it though. Of course it has to all go back to money some how, but I'm not sure how to connect the dots.
