Title: Re: Who is televising the game? Post by: pmull on August 21, 2011, 11:37:38 AM It is the early SEC game that comes on at 11:00 CT and the game starts about 11:20. It is syndicated broadcast that is shown on the local Fox station in my area. Most (if not all) areas in the South will get it on free TV.

Post by: bamalum67 on August 21, 2011, 02:00:32 PM Last year, I had fair luck with watching a few games on justin.tv.com..it seemed to hae about a 5 sec delay, but fair video quality and sound...better than nothing as I can't even get radio here in SC.
You can also get a radio broadcast of games on the internet..some radio stations carry games on the net, one out of Arab (?), Huntsville, others. Title: Re: Who is televising the game? Formerly of Gadsden, Ala, Chatt. , TN, Windsor, Ct., Houston, TX, Wash. DC., I've been there a few times. I spent the last 3 years in Greenville, SC and am now back at my home in Pensacola. One of my best insurance agents lives in Aiken. You're close to Augusta, Ga. You ever go to the Masters? Title: Re: Who is televising the game? Post by: bama87 on August 21, 2011, 05:10:38 PM It will be on the espn3. Their online network.
Title: Re: Who is televising the game? Post by: bamalum67 on August 22, 2011, 08:59:27 AM 2stater: yeah, been to a couple of practice rounds, but even those tickets are out of this world now.
A good story: My brother and I were at a practice round some yrs ago, Gary Player was on a par 3 tee box, (no 6?)and my bro was talking with him since they had met at the sr tourney in Bham yr before..Gary told him that "if I hit my shot within 3 ft of the pin, I'll get you a ticket for next yr" GAry hit it 2 ft from pin! So the next Feb my brother got in the mail instructions on who to see for 2 tickets to the Thurs round, AND an invitation to a reception that evening. We had a great time! Gary Player is truly a gentleman besides a great golfer. Sidenote: at the reception, here were a lot of equip reps there, and we had a great tiime talking golf with them..until they found out we were nobodies! Had some great food, though! The lady who was our HR director for our company in SC was the HR director for the golfing community "The Cliffs" before coming to us. They have communities all over North and South Carolina. She met a lot of famous golfers including Gary Player. She said the same thing you did, that he is a hell of a good guy. She said Nicklaus was an a**hole. Title: Re: Who is televising the game? Post by: 2Stater on August 23, 2011, 10:09:04 AM Just found out that for those of us in the Florida Panhandle (Pensacola area), the game will be televised on WJTC, channel 44. #+
Unfortunately, not in HD. :( Title: Re: Who is televising the game? I think it is RAYCOM or Jefferson Pilot. It is very low quality. On some days it looks like they are broadcasting in black and white. Title: Re: Who is televising the game?
