The Braves look so solid with starting pitching, relief pitching, and the hitting is picking up. They are on course to win 95-97 games. Unfortunately, they are in the division with the Phillies who look AWESOME and are on course to win 104-107 games. I know anything is posssible in sports, but the Phillies look unbeatable to go to the World Series and probably win it. Really an incredible-looking team.

Yeah, the Phillies really are playing well in all phases of the game. But like you said, anything can happen. We've all seen it before in the playoffs where the best team can slump and get beat. Unfortunately, it happened to be the Braves most of the time.  :(

I like the chemistry of the players as well as the new coach, it has success written all over it. But I do agree they will have to beat the Phillies and that won't be easy, but is possible.

While I agree, always remember 1996. The Braves had the best team in baseball that year, won the first two games of the WS, and then collapsed against an inferior Yankees team. I ain't ready to throw in the towel to Philly yet (especially since I have a cousin who is a Philly fan that is REALLY annoying me over this right now. If the Braves don't do it, I hope they get pounded by somebody)

They are 8 1/2 games ahead of the Giants in the WC race.
