You know when people say "Don't be that guy"? I'm pretty sure "that guy" is Danny Kanell. Every time I turn the TV on he's there, like some sci-fi horror show. The way he tries to engage in guy talk, smack talk, good-natured ribbing, etc, that occurs between friends, but with other commentators and analysts who are clearly not digging it, is one of the most awkward things I have seen on TV. He is that kid who no one likes but doesn't get that no one likes him.

You nailed it. Kanell will be on Finebaum rattling on with his nonsense & Finebaum will gently interrupt
saying in an amused manner saying, now Danny, Danny, like you would when someone is making a fool of themselves. Paul makes fun of Kanell all the time. Plus, Paul really does not like Joey Galloway.

Hey NALT, now I have to say in this case Rece seems to be a very special person even if he didn't go to Alabama. I remember watching him come between Mark may and Holtz and he did it with a lot smooth feelings. I have to regress in my statement coming to the work of Rece. He also seems to already be well liked by the staff on the Home Depot crew. RTR!

I haven't seen a lot of Kennell this year, but I haven't heard him be as big of an idiot as Joey Galloway.  Kennell's interview on Mike & Mike Monday morning was actually pretty good, and he was fairly complimentary of Nick Saban.

After thunderous criticism, the FSU debacle against Oregon, Paul making fun of him regularly, & the usual ineptness of the ACC in football, he has come down to earth some. I noticed that about a week ago when he was talking on a program.

I knew when ESPN made him and Galloway the studio show guys it was going to be bad. I tried watching last Saturday and it was simply worse than even I thought it would be. I could be more insightful and unbiased than those guys.

It's like watching "The View". You want to throw up every time one of them opens their mouth.

2stater, I would recommend not watching "The View" anymore. It sounds like a bad show... :D

I watched it once several years ago with someone who wanted to watch it because of a guest star. I just threw up in my mouth a little reliving that.  :lol2:

I wish it wasn't true, CB, but alas, I am a fan of Rosie O'Donell. I support the idea of everyone putting up a picture of her in their home. In no time, America's homes would be rodent free.  :D
