This answers some of the my questions why we had so much hope for a guy kicking very long FG's then all of a sudden when he gets here he can't hit them like he did previously. We have another kicker now I think that was recruited and signed on, I wonder how he is coming? RTR!

We're gonna score nothing but TD's this year, so we'll only need him for the PAT's.  8)

Quote
“I wasn’t 100 percent in the spring. I was about 85-90,” Griffith said. “I felt a whole lot better at the end of the season, but I had days where it was hurting pretty badly. … It didn’t really finally clear up. It’s just feeling better. It’s manageable right now. I’m not kicking as much or nothing too hard starting out so it doesn’t come back.”

Griffith told BamaOnLine yesterday that he is 95-percent healthy, even though he is still taking things easy on the practice field. That’s because his back injury affects “everything” he does and not just field-goal attempts. ...

Soooooo, it continues.

Back injuries are a tricky thing and must be addressed. No shortcuts to the healing process, either. Don't know if we will see him until maybe mid-October. Get well and forget football for now.

#+ e-cred to MD on this one. I know what a back is like and I don't believe you ever get a back healed unless JESUS decides he wants to do it. You can learn to live with it, and come to know what movements to make to keep the pain at a minimum but it will never be 100%. I ditto MD. RTR!
