Rachael Reedy dominates at Junior Pan Am Games, embraces new college track home

Rachael Reddy, competing in the 5,000 meters for the second time, dominated the field last week at the Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton, earning Team USA a gold medal with a finish of 16:23:35. Reddy's time set a meet record, allowing her to outpace the competition by more than 12 seconds.
Now Reddy, a former Mountain Brook High School standout, is ready to continue track and field at a new college. Hint: it's located in her home state.
