11 battles for starting spots in NFL training camps

As NFL training camps open over the next week, many of the 167 players with Alabama football roots attending will face the battle of their professional lives, striving to stay on rosters through the final cuts on Aug. 5. For others, the battle will be to retain or step into a starting position against vigorous competition.
