Title: Clowney said he fell asleep during Saban visit Post by: cbbama99 on July 10, 2015, 01:40:50 PM Two things:
1. I guess JC was happier with mediocrity and not greatness. 2. Considering the English used by him, I would guess that his Indian name would be "Not-Brain-Surgeon" http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-saturday/jadeveon-clowney-says-he-dozed-off-during-an-in-home-visit-with-nick-saban-155035427.html Title: Re: Clowney said he fell asleep during Saban visit Post by: ricky023 on July 10, 2015, 02:01:07 PM Well he didn't like competition and playing for championships with the big boys. He was mediocre when he came and he was almost mediocre when he went. RTR!
Title: Re: Clowney said he fell asleep during Saban visit Post by: 2Stater on July 10, 2015, 02:45:44 PM Other than the monster play against Michigan, he was not the player most expected, maybe because of injuries. Having said that, he was still better than most. He never really considered coming to Bama. He was a home boy that wasn't going far from his Mama. He was SC bound, all the way.
Title: Re: Clowney said he fell asleep during Saban visit Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 10, 2015, 10:55:30 PM Clowney record:

He was was First Team All-American in his Sophomore and Junior years. He was SEC Defensive Player of the Year. After his Junior year he was selected No. 1 in the NFL draft an got a huge contract with $22M of it guaranteed. Poor kid did not accomplish anything at South Carolina. USCe's history says they should do much better than that? USCe was ranked in the Top 10 in the final polls all three seasons. They were # 4 in 2013. |
