Title: Regional matchups announced for Division I softball championship Post by: Jamos on May 10, 2015, 09:52:09 PM The brackets have been set with Bama being a #6 seed. They will host Fairfield, USC Upstate, and Washington and will play Fairfield in their first game Friday May 15th at 4 p.m. If Bama wins out they will host the Super Regional and it could possibly be another Bama versus Oklahoma game in the Super Regional.
On the other side of Bama's bracket, Oklahoma is the host. They will play Central Arkansas,Lehigh, and Texas A&M. http://i.turner.ncaa.com/sites/default/files/external/gametool/brackets/softball_d1_2014.pdf Title: Re: Regional matchups announced for Division I softball championship Post by: N.AL-Tider on May 11, 2015, 06:37:30 AM I don't know anything about either Fairfield, USC Upstate or Washington but by the fact that they all made it to Regionals I'd say they are pretty good teams that could beat us...Hopefully our ladies will have all the kinks worked out and play to their level of capability. If they do that then I truly believe they can beat any team...

No, but they have the all-time leading homerun hitter in softball. In the two SEC Tourney games we only scored 3 runs. We will be fine in the Regional. Oklahoma will present some problems.
