After mercy ruling them foes in the past few games, Bama will host N.C. State tonight in hopes of continuing their hot streak at the plate. Alexis Osorio was hit by a vicious line drive in the rib area but did not suffer any broken bones. Per Pat Murphy, she is just bruised up a little which is great news for the ladies as they have a 3 game series with Auburn this weekend at Auburn.

SCOUTING NC STATE (25-16, 9-6 ACC)
- The Wolfpack are coming off a series victory over Virginia last weekend, falling 3-2 in the opener before winning game two, 8-0, and three, 6-0, to claim the series.
- While 25-16 overall, NC State is just 4-9 this season against ranked opponents. Ranked wins include one against Florida State and three against Notre Dame.
- NC State has played six games against SEC opponents this season, falling twice to LSU (7-0, 4-2), three times to Florida (1-0, 5-3, 3-0) and once to Missouri (13-3).
- Senior Renada Davis leads the offense with 46 hits and a .371 batting average. Sophomore Tyler Ross is the RBI leader with 38 while fellow sophomore Molly Hutchinson owns a team-leading 11 home runs.
- Senior Emily Weiman (20-11, 2.33 ERA) has been a workhorse in the circle, logging 186.1 innings pitched, nearly 70 percent of the team's total innings. She has 222 strikeouts (1.19 K/IP) while opponents are hitting just .208 against her.
