Title: Tidesports staff takes a look at five questions entering the season
Post by: pmull on August 04, 2011, 07:52:09 AM
With University of Alabama football players reporting Thursday and fall practice opening Friday, it's time to take a look at the burning questions the Crimson Tide will need to answer, or at least address, before the season kicks off Sept. 3 against Kent State.

Here is a look at those questions, and what Tidesports.com's football coverage team thinks about the answers:

1. Will the preseason settle the all-important quarterback question, or will it drag into September?

I think we'll be so good this year we shouldn't even bother with practice! JMHO 8)

I know. Why take the chance of gettin' someone injured?

No one is getting hurt. Football is fun.

Tidesports is still in my rotation of places to look for information and breaking stories on Bama sports. I have always like Cecil Hurt.

Hurt is good to read.  He usually has articles that other writers don't cover.

I agree with everyone on Cecil, he pretty much tells it like it is. I think he represents the U of A extremely well.

Yeah, its all fun and games for y'all, but I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in the lack of in-depth coverage by the TideSprotz staff. Where was the examination of the long snapper position? Will new waterboys step up to handle the pressure at an SEC school? Is it true that electrical charges will be given to Phil Savage during broadcasts to elicit more enthusiasm? These are things that REALLY worry me!  >:(
