Perhaps no new addition comes with more anticipation than Duron Carter, a transfer from Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College. Since his commitment last spring to sign with Alabama, he has been hyped with the potential to be the Crimson Tide's next big-game wide receiver.

The reputation spawns from his pedigree. His father is Cris Carter, who starred with the Minnesota Vikings and Ohio State.

The hype stems from his dad's dominance in the NFL.  Like father like son?  We can only hope, and will find out soon.

I hope he fills the big receiver type and can block down field.

This young man sure has a lot of pressure to stand up to the hype. Will this be to much pressure? We have to remember he is 20 yrs. old. His dad is a Hall of Famer he might not be that great. He just needs to catch what is thrown to him and block when it is a running play. RTR!
