Title: VCU made NCAA 5/6 years after Grant departure Post by: roll tide roll on March 16, 2015, 03:21:33 PM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VCU_Rams_men%27s_basketball (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VCU_Rams_men%27s_basketball)
Glad the university finally made the right decision. What coaching replacement were missed due to keeping Grant through this season? Title: Re: VCU made NCAA 5/6 years after Grant departure Post by: Jamos on March 16, 2015, 05:45:25 PM VCU made NCAA 5/6 years after Grant departure

The team played lights out.
I noticed that there were no inopportune timeouts taken last night. Instead of Grant's timeouts, sometimes taken when Bama is firing on all cylinders, the coach last night called timeouts at the perfect time -- when Illinois started showing signs of life or Bama seemed to be forcing shots. The team came out of the timeout refocused, and Illinois could never mount a comeback.
