But, you've got to win and he just coudn't get over the hump for some reason. Always close, but never able to move the program forward to the next level.
I have no ill will towards Grant and genuinely hope he lands somewhere and does well. I also hope Battle is able to hire someone who will get us moving in the right direction so we don't have to repeat this in five years. Title: Re: Grant fired! From the expressions on Bill Battle's face for the past few weeks I would guess that he has a list of names all ready but he may have to wait until the season is over for some of them to ask for interviews.
