1. "Is this what we want football to be?" That's what Nick Saban so famously asked of hurry-up, no-huddle offenses back in 2012. And after two years of debate and one tabled proposal, it appears as if the answer is yes, with the NCAA Football Rules committee declining any slow-play regulations last week. That leads to something of a split-decision, writes Kevin Scarbinsky. Yes, Gus Malzahn won the right to operate at breakneck speeds, but Nick Saban also won the game on the field, beating Auburn in a shootout this past November.
