Scout's Take: Daylon Charlot to Alabama Crimson Tide

Daylon Charlot, No. 59 in the ESPN 300 and the No. 8-ranked wide receiver prospect, committed to Alabama over LSU Wednesday in another recruiting battle between the Crimson Tide and Tigers. The longtime Alabama commit opened up his recruitment on Dec. 30 following an offer from the home-state Tigers. Charlot made official visit to LSU in early December followed by a visit to Alabama Jan. 16.
Commitment impact: Charlot not only brings depth and playmaking to the Crimson Tide, as well but also punt and kick off return ability.
