Quote
Stuart Scott, a longtime anchor at ESPN, died Sunday morning at the age of 49.

 :(

He was always as cool as the other side of the pillow. I noticed he was thinner than normal, but did not know he was fighting cancer. I always liked him.

He was terrific. One of the first sportscasters to bring the swag/smack/humor element into delivering the sports news. He was a cool dude. His was a short story, but a really cool story.

Back in the day when Sportscenter was part of life, there were a couple of classic partners that did the show. It started with Keith and Dan and the torch was later passed to Stuart and Rich. I spent many mornings in college watching them and they were awesome.
I just watched a few videos on ESPN and they tugged at my heart and put life into perspective. Condolences to his family and 2 girls on the lose of an amazing man.
Boo-yah! Stuart.

So sad. He was one of the first Sportscenter anchors that I really remembered and I always enjoyed his work. Gone too soon, Stuart. You'll always be as cool as the other side of the pillow. My thoughts and prayers to his family.
