What he brings: Payne is a physically massive and powerful interior defensive lineman with deceptive quickness for his size. The four-star possesses outstanding size and carries his weight very well. A strong, wide-body, Payne can be an excellent run-stuffer. He is a space-eater, very difficult to move off the ball and is capable of drawing and battling double teams.
