Eddie Jackson is one player that frustrates me. He makes some good plays and then sometimes, it's like he doesn't even try.

Too little too late.  That was a disappointing end to this year, but we probably over-achieved this year.

Game lost by Saban, Eddie Jackson, & Sims. Stunning. We should have won by 2 touchdowns.

Probably should have thrown it to Cooper at the end there.  Best player on the field.

Sims and Co. overachieved this year, but were exposed tonight.

We gave up a lot of big plays tonight, but the defensive line and the linebackers were terrific against the run, especially in the second half. They handed the ball back to the O plenty of times. And the Scott kid would have been the MVP had we won.

Why we didn't stay with the run game I will never know.

But, a good year with a young team. They gave it all they had and suffered a lot of injuries for the cause. Congrats to them all for what they achieved.

I expect that the coaches do know, and have known for close to two years.  There is a reason Bama recruited probably the two top CBs in the nation, who are freshmen this year, Tony Brown and Marion Humphrey.  Bama lost a lot of talent after the 2012 season, especially DBs.

Wow, WALL-e is full of Alabama stuff about losing in the Sugar bowl. I have figured out we don't do well when we play in the Sugar Bowl. I guess if I live that long there is always next year. lol, RTR!

Yes.  I was hoping these two would come in and be an immediate answer.  It seems like I remember it took even D. Milliner a couple of years to turn the corner (no pun intended), though, too.  Here's hoping for a lot of growth out of Brown and Humphrey over the next 8 months or so.

Very disappointing finish, but this exceeded all my expectations for the year and will forever be a favorite right behind the 2009 team.  Sims is now my favorite QB of my lifetime, and I wish we could have him for one more season. 

I'm excited about next year though.  We'll finally have depth AND experience on both lines and in the secondary.  Coker, assuming he wins the job, will have a slew of weapons and I expect Kiffin to develop an offense that maximizes Coker's strengths. 

It was a sad ending to a very successful season, considering where the team was in August. I am very proud of this team regardless of how it ended and I am already looking forward to spring practice, to watch the new battle for QB. I'm like everyone else in that I wanted so much for them to get #16 but being realistic, this team probably should never had a chance to get to New Orleans considering how it all happened. Kudos to the coaches and players for a job well done.  :clap:

The clock struck midnight. We had our chances, but couldn't pull it off. As J said, this team went through a lot to get to NOLA, and I'm proud of them as well. Just gonna have to stay away from the sports stations for a while since I've already heard enough about the cataclysmic collapse of the SEC West in the bowl games.

We probably got lucky by losing last night because I think Oregon would have put a shonuff butt whipping on Bama and Ohio State will get that pleasure now. I don't see any glory in losing in the championship game.

GREAT season, horrible ending.  Congratulations to our team as they went through a lot and probably won some games they shouldn't have this year.  I am very proud of their accomplishments this year.

Last night's game kept me scratching my head from the beginning of the 2nd quarter on.  We seemed to be very well balanced on the offense and DH was burning the OSU defense up.  I think he had over 50 yards in the 1st if I'm not mistaken.  After that Kiffin stopped giving him the ball and kept calling passes.  The last drive was horrible from a time management perspective too.  I, for one, put this loss on Kiffin's shoulders.  Well, to be honest I suppose Kirby Smart should also shoulder a good deal of the blame.  Afterall, I cannot remember any time this whole season where our defense had the opponent at 3rd and long where we didn't give up the first down play...Totally frustrating.

Regardless, I do believe we will be a better team next year and I am really looking forward to it. 

Boy, no kidding! They were hitting on all cylinders. I wonder if they are going to start calling the natty this year, "The O Bowl"?  :lol2:

Sorry I couldn't be on here last night. Very disappointing end to the season, but I am proud of how the guys competed all season. Still love my Tide.

we beat ourselves last night, much like we did against Ole Miss. I think we would have given oregon the better game, but, I do have my Crimson glasses on :o

I honestly thought we would find a way to win last night. Alas, it was not to be.

I think this team overachieved this year especially with Blake Sims leadership. The fact is, we win or lose as a team.
