Nick Saban continues to dominate the recruiting landscape. The Crimson Tide are on pace for their fourth consecutive No. 1-ranked recruiting class. The current No. 1-ranked recruiting class consists of 22 commitments, including an astounding 17 ranked in the ESPN 300. Playing Ohio State in the inaugural College Football Playoff will only strengthen Alabama's presence when it comes to the top recruits in the country.
Key losses: OL Austin Shepherd, OL Arie Kouandjio, DT Brandon Ivory, MLB Trey DePriest, DB Nick Perry, DB Jarrick Williams, WR Christion Jones, WR DeAndrew White, QB Blake Sims, Landon Collins*, Amari Cooper (expected to leave early)
Instant impact freshman: With as talented a class as Alabama is bringing in, there could be a few options here, but the true freshman who will have the best opportunity to make a noticeable difference is wide receiver Calvin Ridley.
