He's had to do stuff, and we've both had to do stuff together, to create an offense that these particular players could be effective in. And that is what is probably the thing that I respect most about what he's been able to do with how he's been able to take a system that he's never really ever played -- he's an old two-back, pro guy just like me -- and we sort of changed it all so that the quarterback could function well and we could spread people out and use the players that we had. He's done a great job. It was a little trial and error early in the season trying to implement this system, but it's been very, very productive for us and he deserves a lot of credit for the hard work that he does and the dedication that he's had to our team and our players. Our players have a tremendous of amount of respect for him as a teacher and as a coach."
Good stuff from Saban.
