Now, the 49ers head coach returning to Ann Arbor appears inevitable. New York Times best-selling author John U. Bacon is reporting that Harbaugh is headed to Michigan to coach his alma mater, where he played quarterback under coach Bo Schembechler. Apparently got info from "reliable sources". We'll see. There was talk on ESPN earlier in afternoon that Raiders wanted to talk to CJH, but it may be too late for a Raiders push to amount to anything.
There was also a report on SportsCenter that Harbaugh's agent was calling some NFL assistants to see if any were interested in coming to Mich. Guess this will play out pretty soon this week. I wonder if this will be any kind of distraction for tOSU? If he were to take the Michigan offer at $9Million and Bama wins the NC would Coach Saban automatically get bumped up to being the highest paid coach over that?
