Post by: ricky023 on December 08, 2014, 11:42:41 AM
Lord we love you. Jesus is the head of all because our Father placed it under his feet. Father we come to seek your face in all things. We bow to you for you are worthy of our Praise. Lord Bless and Heal the sick and afflicted those we know and the ones we don't know. Lord we pray that this country will again rise to the place leading worship to you. Lord our burn children the hungry overseas we pray will be fed and/or healed. Thank you for another beautiful day in the name of JESUS we pray. AMEN/SHALOM

Just got off the phone with Joe's wife.  He's coming home TONIGHT.
They're all real excited.  The nurses said, "Joe's a real fighter."

:jump:

Thanks for the prayers.

I know.  His wife thought he might be able to get home by December 20th, then the doctors started talking about December 10th, then suddenly (after a setback) they said he could continue his recovery at home.  Apparently the organ-transplant patients must first survive the tissue-rejection issues, and after that the primary issue is infection.  Hospitals are not a great place for patients who are susceptible to infections (ironic, no?), so the doctors send them home asap.  Joe can't have company for a while, but his family is celebrating already.  Keep the prayers coming!
