Title: Missouri players bad-mouth Bama after the game
Post by: Old Tider on December 07, 2014, 10:52:26 AM
Defensive end Markus Golden said "As far as being physical, those guys ain't no more physical than anyone else I've played."

Jimmy Hunt who caught a 63-yard pass said of our defense: "We knew they had some flaws. They're not the quickest guys."

Maybe these two Tigers were knocked senseless during the game.

Probably accurate observations.  Bama's O-Line is not as physical as it has been in the past, which is why Bama's offense doesn't run the ball in the same way.

And Eddie Jackson isn't the fastest DB, gets beat deep against Auburn and MO, everyone has scouted that.

If it makes them feel better to say that, hey, whatever it takes to ease the pain of getting their azz beat 42-13.

Yeah, I remember some boxer saying the same about Cassius Clay after being knocked out.  Prolly thought he was boxing a mob!

I was just on their board. For the most part the fans are understandably disappointed, giving us our due, and only one or two getting ugly with us. Most posts about the ejection than the whole rest of the game. They seem split 50/50 on the call.

Generally, a classy bunch. They will not make the meltdown thread.

Wonder what the score would have been if we didn't have all those "flaws"?
