Guess this makes Coach JMc to Fla more of a possibility.

Did not know he was a native of Oxford, so this makes sense. Plus, UF would bring such incredible pressures & expectations.

Wow.  How times have changed in 8 years.  Remember what a stink the media made when Bama paid Saban a kings ransom of approx 4 million in 2007?   Now you get 4.5 million for winning 9 games and going to a bowl.  It's a good thing he was not at Nebraska with those 9 wins.  9 wins just gets the Huskers pissed off.

Looks like UF has moved down the list now.  It doesn't sound like Coach Mac is being considered any longer.

When all is said and done they will probably regret getting rid of Muschamp.  Just 2 years ago they finished the regular season 11-1 and were in the conversation to play for the national championship.  They deserved it more than Notre Dame, that is for sure.  He just needed to find a good OC and let him handle the offense, and they would have been fine.  Especially in the East.

Yep, the job is VERY appealing.  A talented coach should certainly have success there.

I predict they will end up with J. Lifelong Assistant, who ends up averaging .750 for a few years before they fire him and start all over again.  Meanwhile, CWM will go somewhere else, hire a competent offensive staff, and compete for conference championships.  Probably in the Big 12.

Very likely.  But the image that ruins Muschamp is this:
