Title: QB RGIII Finished at Redskins Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 30, 2014, 04:55:18 PM He still thinks he is in college, not the NFL.
Quote Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will not return to the team next season, according to CBS Sports. After losing his starting job to Colt McCoy, several in the organization believe that the team will part with Griffin after the season. There has reportedly been a growing rift between Griffin and the team that is beyond repair. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-redskins-to-part-with-griffin-after-season/ar-BBganqw :popcorn2: Title: Re: QB RGIII Finished at Redskins Post by: Jamos on November 30, 2014, 05:19:03 PM Entitlement? :dunno:
Title: Re: QB RGIII Finished at Redskins Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 30, 2014, 05:44:55 PM Entitlement? :dunno: Everything I have read about this situation over the past 3 weeks indicates he is lazy and not serious about being an NFL quality QB. He doesn't dedicate the time and energy on learning how to read defenses, making passes in certain situations, not running so much, and not spending enough time in the film room. He still thinks he is in college and can get by on sheer talent alone. Apparently, his teammates are not happy with his attitude & work ethic, either. :dunno: Title: Re: QB RGIII Finished at Redskins Post by: cbbama99 on November 30, 2014, 07:19:42 PM He simply isn't the same QB he was as a rookie. After that injury at the end of his first year, he hasn't been the same. The problem with him is that Redskins owner Daniel Snyder was willing to do ANYTHING to appease this guy (remember, Washington gave up several first round picks to move up to draft him and gave him an unreal contract). My guess is that RG3 thought he had total immunity because he had Snyder in his corner (something that most likely helped to get Shanahan fired last year). Now, it looks like Snyder may be finally seeing the light. Problem is, 'Skins have MANY more problems that just RG3. Snyder is one of the worst and most meddling owners in the league (almost as bad as Jerry Jones), and his spending so much on mediocre or over the hill talent has caught up to them.

Snyder is worth BILLIONS & thinks that makes him an expert in all matters. He needs to hire a proven GM and get out of his way. :dog: Title: Re: QB RGIII Finished at Redskins Post by: McBaman on November 30, 2014, 07:45:43 PM If they let RGIII go, how much will they owe him? (Lots I would think.)
