Title: Auburn Posters on ITAT Take on the Finebaum/Sheridan Info Today
Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 20, 2011, 07:36:50 PM
The usual delusional view and denial of any problems. Plus, Alabama and the REC is behind it.

If I didn't dislike them so much, I would feel sorry for them.

Yep, not to long after reading "The Art Of War" by Sun Tzu.

I listened to the show, in part.  And SuperCoach and I posted what was said on a thread.  Nothing too extreme, just the usual denial and confusion (confusion over how the NCAA could still investigate after the Boogs were deemed innocent back in December).

Sounds more like a quote from George Patton.

The worst thing that can happen to the boogers is they will be back to owning only one national championship title from cheating 54 years ago. Oh! And down to 2 Hiesmans.

Well it seems that the fans are scared or they would not keep bringing up the investigation. It is almost guilty by association. RTR!

Interesting question brought up by someone on W.A.

If Auburn had to vacate their title, and we won 2011, could we claim back to back titles?

I know I sure would!!!! 8)

You can expect MUCH more than that if half these allegtions are true. Try, at least, 35-40 lost schollys, 5 years probation, 3 year TV ban, bowl ban, etc. If they did most of what is alleged, they are looking the Death Penalty square in the face. This is going to be very interesting and we still don't know what the FBI may have on the wiretaps about buying players for Auburn.

I hope they don't get the TV ban, that only punishes their opponents.  If you think you need to give them the TV ban, then just go ahead and cancel their season.  I'm sure we can get somebody else to play us for that last game.

Whom shall we play in place of a probationary west georgia team?

I guess it'll have to be an SEC game since we need to maintain or in-conference games. But that takes the fun out of the CRS selection process.

I'll go with tOSU since they seem to be running a much cleaner program than the barn.

I say they start a death penalty league, rotate teams in and out of meaningless games with each other to keep the programs in tact.  Dont let them profit from it or play post season.

Instead of 15 yd penalty, you must write on the blackboard jumbotron, "I will not pay for play, I will not pay for play, I will..."

Remember the goofball lawyer from Selma that used to sit in with PF on Fridays? When he and Paul talked to women, it was like 11 year olds sneaking their first look at a Playboy magazine. His(PF) behavior around female callers, Barbara Dooley and God forbid, Terri Saban was embarrassing to watch (listen). Repeated sexual references or insinuations, that to me, show a breakdown in his upbringing as a child.
