Yeldon will be limited at practice but is anticipated to play against No. 1 Mississippi State. Yeldon is dealing with a minor ankle sprain and will be a "little slow" for the first few days of practice, coach Nick Saban said Monday. Saban didn't give any reason to believe the junior's status against the Bulldogs is in doubt.... Tight end Brian Vogler, who was limited against LSU after missing a significant chunk of practice with a knee injury, is anticipated to be a bigger contributor against Mississippi State, Saban said. I think there is more to this ankle sprain than he is letting on, Yeldon is no where near 100% as we saw Saturday night. I had a slight ankle sprain in which I could walk straight in a normal manner. However, if I tried to pivot (turn) sharply or walk uphill or downhill, the pain was significant. It took 6 weeks to heal. :dog: Title: Re: "Nick Saban updates injury status of Alabama RB T.J. I don't understand why both Tenpenny and Jones were wearing scout team jerseys today. Seems like we should have one of those guys ready to run a few plays at least. |
