Title: Alabama Leads the SEC in the NCAA's Graduation Success Rate
Post by: Jamos on October 29, 2014, 02:40:59 PM
The University of Alabama's Graduation Success Rate (GSR) jumped to a 91 this year which leads the Southeastern Conference and once again far exceeds the acceptable standards for completion of undergraduate studies nationally according to figures released by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The GSR spans the period covering student-athletes who attended the University during 2004-07.

2004-2007?  Why does it take 7 years to figure this out?

2004-2007?  Why does it take 7 years to figure this out?

I googled and looked at other school reports. Most reports say it includes athletes who enrolled as freshmen or transfers during the 2004-2007 time frame. 2007 freshmen were 5th year seniors in 2012. Still slow but it makes a little more sense.
