Title: "SEC playoff tracker: Oct. 29" Post by: WALL-E on October 29, 2014, 08:08:02 AM SEC playoff tracker: Oct. 29
Title: Re: "SEC playoff tracker: Oct. 29" Post by: 2Stater on October 29, 2014, 08:31:34 AM Quote Who says the SEC isn’t getting two teams in the playoff? I'll believe it when I see it. I still think that after all the league championships have been decided, only one SEC team will be in. I think if FSU finishes undefeated, and the conference champs have no more than one loss, the 4 contenders will be FSU, the SEC champ, the Pac 12 champ and the Big 12 champ. The last-week game between Ole Miss and MSU could be the reason. If both remain undefeated until then, and if OM upsets MSU, both could get in. You may be right, but like I said, I'll believe it when I see it. Actually, I like the scenario better where Bama finishes undefeated the rest of the way, and if Ole Miss wins out, they both get in. :lol2: Title: Re: "SEC playoff tracker: Oct. 29" Post by: SUPERCOACH on October 29, 2014, 12:00:47 PM Quote Who says the SEC isn’t getting two teams in the playoff? Now that would cause an epic meltdown. SEC vs SEC again, with Alabama getting another shot at the team that beat them. And we would stomp a mudhole in them the second time around too. :popcorn2: Title: Re: "SEC playoff tracker: Oct. 29" Post by: 2Stater on October 29, 2014, 12:56:23 PM Quote Who says the SEC isn’t getting two teams in the playoff? Their best shot was under the old system, especially in a year like this when the SEC champ will likely have at least 1 and maybe 2 losses. SEC teams are well prepared to play several tough games in a row, while the other conferences only have to play 1 or 2 per year. |
