I was griping on woolly about all of the "pull your leg threads" left and right and another poster mentioned this site in the thread.  So, I checked this site out and could immediately tell it was much better.  I pulled an "Ed" and don't see any reason to return to that site, unless I want to see boobies (lol), or waste time reading a post and then realize it was made up by somebody who thinks they are cool by making up some fake story and then bragging about how intelligent they are because others didn't see it soon enough.......blah blah blah

I am glad to have found this forum. I posted at TideSports before the changeover, and migrated to Wolly, but it seems populated mainly of the people who acted juvenile on the old forum. Good to see many of better posters from TS here.

They must be talking about us again.  Every time they do that we get a surge of new people from the old tide sports forum who didn't know about us.  :)

Tide Sports announced they where going to shut down on a Friday, and I scrambled to build this place that weekend so we wouldn't all be e-homeless.  Then they closed the site on Monday.  So unless you happened by that weekend you probably have no idea that this site even exists.

I thought this looked like a good option until ObamaCare kicks in. Then I found out the only thing this PhD can help me with is Jeopardy questions.

Just a thought  :think:, but we, as a society, work hard at trying to find verbage to shorten our communication efforts, such as using acronyms. Why not use acronyms to shorten acronyms. So instead of PhD, why not fD? (little f so as not to be confused with Fire Dept.)

Was at the USCe stadium last yr, and still can't believe we lost to them. OBC ain't stupid for giving Garcia 5 chances..no team wo a QB, and his backup is lame.  Some of us remember CPB giving Stabler 5 or more chances..CPB even said he was making a mistake with Stabler by giving him one more chance..CPB was far more lenient with him than any other player he ever had.

The 24-23 fiasco still makes me sick. And I await with glee their eventual justice.

Got to go to the MSU game last fall, and was overwhelmed with the changes at the U....don't care for the pepsi products, tho..what's up with that?  Mal made a mistake with that, IMHO.

I knew Stabler back then.  He was wild.  Coach Bryant did the best he could.  Spurrier and Garcia are a different topic; Garcia seems nuts.  But he can be a talent; killed us with pinpoint passing.

It's been hashed and rehashed here but Garcia had a career game against the Tide. The rest of the season he returned to being poor ol' stupid/drunk Garcia.

67, I feel your pain. I spent the last 3 years in SC and had to take their crap as well. I hope we meet in the SECCG also. The score will be even more lopsided, this time in Bama's favor.

Yep, the guy has played ONE stellar game in his career and it was against Bama. In all his other games, he's been average, at best.

I was also at the game in SC last year. I had told my daughter that for her graduation from the University of Nebraska - Omaha, I would take them to a game. I was so disappointed in the game although we did have a good time visiting with her.
I'm ready for revenge!
