Title: 30 Questions for the SEC in 2011
Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 13, 2011, 01:07:43 PM
Excellent article. Check out questions/answers to questions 4, 5, 10, & 22.

[1. What SEC player has the most pressure in 2011?

A. Stephen Garcia QB South Carolina- Being a starting QB under Steve Spurrier is always intense, but after 5 suspensions in his 5 year career, Garcia is under a microscope both on and off the field.  Garcia has had a good career at USC and is likely to end his career as the winningest QB in school history, but the off the field issues have hurt him.  This will be the most hyped Gamecock team since 1988 and this team's success will likely determine Garcia's legacy.

What did you think of the Tide/Hogs prediction?

I didn't like it. If we were playing at Arkansas I would be much more worried about this game. Under Saban we protect our home turf as well as anybody in the country. This will also be our first big home game of the year. The team and the fans will be pumped up.

It was a great article, but he left me hanging with no prediction of the BCSNC.  :-\

I think he missed on the Arky game, but evidently he doesn't know how to count, either. In picking the Tide to win the SECCG, he says it would "their 3rd SEC Championship in the last 4 years." As much as I would like for that to be true, it would be our second if we were to win.

I didn't agree with all the details, but the ending wasn't bad!

I pretty much dismissed the write-up when he grouped Auburn with Mississippi State as a NYD bowl caliber team.

But then I realized he was cleverly pointing out that with NYD on Sunday this year, there are no NYD bowls.   :D  With that in mind, his Auburn prediction doesn't look off base, but I think he may be short changing MSU.

He was getting a head start on next year's article and got them confused.
