Saban said mistakes late in drives reminded him of the 2011 regular-season loss to LSU

Maybe Bama can end the season the same way.

Unless I am mistaken, that is back-to-back games where we (Bama) turned the ball over by fumble or interception at least 3 times.  I told some guys at work after the Florida game that if we do that every game the rest of the season then we would win only one more game.  I stand by that statement.  Ball control/protection is as important to being successful as playing defense, running the ball for positive yardage and throwing completed passes...

We turned the ball over twice. Both in the closing minutes.

Penalties, missed assignments and no pass rush in the 2nd half all hurt. Landon Collins, our All-American safety, got beat deep on the last two TD passes. They dropped another.

We should have won the game but Ole Miss played better and appeared to want the game more than we did.

We missed Ryan Kelly at center when he left the game with injury.

Regardless of the "clutter" (as CNS calls it; the fumbles, injuries, missed opportunities), I agree with 2Stater who said,
"We can't beat any SEC team if we score only 1 offensive TD."

Give credit to the OM defense (and crowd noise), they held us out of the endzone.
