You had to know this would happen. OSU is a sinking ship and the rats are deserting the Tressel ship.

Gordon Lee and Gene Smith should be held accountable as well. There's no way, they didn't know about this crap from the beginning. Tressel isn't telling the 'whole story'...jmo

To waive the $250k penalty/fine and just retire?...bull crap.

Plus, part of the self imposed penalties was CJT's not being on the sidelines next year (first 5 games) but since he is not going to be there, what is the penalty?  Part of the self imposed sanctions were limits on CJT's recruiting next year, but since he is not going to be there...

As far as poor ol' CJT, how many of you would like to have:

Quote
Tressel also will collect his unpaid sick and vacation time up to 250 hours and will be eligible for health-insurance coverage for himself and his family under the plan available to all state retirees, according to the settlement.

Would this not be considered fraud?

Fraud would be the least of their problems with these allegations.

Did you see this?  SIAP

"According to sources close to Kyle Kalis (5-star OL from Lakewood, OH), while on his unofficial visit to Ann Arbor, Kyle gave the Michigan staff the jolting news moments ago that he will indeed join Strobel in Maize & Blue. This comes just weeks after he officially rescinded his commitment from the Buckeyes."
