Title: A little footballl tak Post by: hscoach on September 30, 2014, 06:00:53 PM I would like to see this package sometimes this year. You have TJY and DH in the backfield split backs shotgun. In the slot you have Howard and on the outside you have Cooper and White. You could also single up Howard on one side and put White outside with Cooper inside to cause match up problems. The question is how will the defense play? Will they load up and try to stop the run with DH and TJY in the same backfield or will they have to worry they must cover the 3 rec's to stop the pass? You have the ability to run the ball and also max protect with the passing game. You also have screens to either back along with the wide rec screen. You could also motion TJY out and cause a match up problem with a LB. Just some football talk.

I'm just waiting for the real playbook to be be exposed and starting this weekend I think Ole Miss will get a sample of what is in store for the rest of the schedule. ;) Title: Re: A little footballl tak Post by: pmull on September 30, 2014, 08:07:20 PM I like it too. I might even put Drake in the slot instead of Howard.

I like the idea of having Howard in there in case you want to move him in to a tight end position after the defense changes their personnal package to adjust. I don't know about rec wsie, but according to some announcers, Georgia has the best stable of running backs in the SEC. They are getting 2 rec's back this week, I hear, so they may be similar. I've heard that too, but I'm not buying it. Title: Re: A little footballl tak Post by: bama87 on October 01, 2014, 10:38:44 PM I was Reading some where that CLK has run so many different formations that teams have match up problems. That is one reason why he is on the sidelines.when Cooper is in the slot teams have to sometimes use a lb or safety on him. We win that match up. When Drake line up wide to the field side a lb had him that is another match up we win.
Suffice to say HS it all about match ups. Title: Re: A little footballl tak Post by: N.AL-Tider on October 02, 2014, 06:25:16 AM Does anyone else in the country have this kind of flexibility?
