I thought that might happen. I have mixed emotions. That makes that target on our back much bigger. But it's nice to be king again.

That's very interesting thar FSU has 26 first place votes to our 15, yet we're #1.
#1 should be Bama or OK.  FSU barely belongs in the top 5, and only because of last year.  FSU must not have gotten many #2 votes; those willing to move them off the top probably voted more realistically.

While this ranking is all nice and everything, there is one thing that must be remembered!! Do Not Drink the Koolaid!!!! Play like we are the underdog!! Stay hungry and stay mean!!! Outwork your opponent!! Out prepare him!!! Play smarter than him!!!! Play Faster than him!! DOMINATE him!!!

I think it says something about your coaching staff when you jump to number one on the basis of the fact that your team has had an extra week to work on fundamentals.
